Banff is a short 15 minute walk or five minutes on the local bus service, for which there is a small charge.
A twin centre ski holiday with the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is a perfect way to explore all that Alberta has to offer. Your baggage will be transferred free of charge for you between the two hotels if you choose to stay in both.

"Ordinarily a faux Scottish Baronial castle wouldn’t appeal to me - we have the real thing up here - but 'ordinary' doesn’t apply to the Fairmont Banff Springs – it’s got the ‘wow’ factor and a sense of history that you rarely find in North American hotels. Make sure you take a map from reception when you arrive, because the place is huge, but around most corners there seems to be a little bar or a restaurant so getting lost is almost a pleasure!"
