Overview
The Steamboat Grand is the resort's flagship hotel. Located at the base of the mountain it's a very short walk over to the Steamboat Gondola and all skier services. This is a big hotel with lots of differing room types from traditional hotel rooms up to large multiple bedroom penthouses. Service at the Steamboat Grand is first class, with guests having exclusive access to the Steamboat Grand Private Guest Lounge where they can store skis and boots at the base of the mountain. There is also a complimentary ski shuttle to run guests into downtown Steamboat, which is about 3 miles away.
Facilities at this luxury hotel include a fitness facility, sauna, steam room and a huge heated outdoor pool with two large hot tubs. The Cabin restaurant & bar is the place to eat and drink in the hotel and serves breakfast and dinner.
Note that the hotel will close on 1 April 2024 for a major renovation project.
